Six choirs came for our Choral Festival on 18th May 2024
and here are some pics from the day.
The Sunday before Advent (in late November) is sometimes called Stir-Up Sunday, as it is time to make the Christmas Cake mix.
The Junior Choir like to come to the St Lawrence Cafe to do this, so everyone can help stir the mixture and make a wish or a prayer.

Fifty singers from six choirs and a large audience enjoyed music from five centuries - culminating in a triumphant (and very loud) rendition of the coronation anthem "I was glad" by Parry.
