Bell Ringing

There are six bells in the church, rung each Sunday morning in the traditional call to worship. We practice on Monday evenings, and we also ring for weddings, funerals, memorial services and other special occasions.

The bells are rung from a first floor ringing platform which is open to the church and is reached by a short spiral staircase. The tenor weighs 12cwt.

Ringers of all experience are welcome to join us; we regularly have visitors from local towers at our practices..

WSLAnyone keen to learn how to ring, or just curious about bellringing, is also very welcome to come along to a practice to find out more. We currently have children and adults learning to ring with us. .

We are a friendly band, ending our practices with a drink at The Bell opposite the church. We also arrange outings to other towers and join in local deanery ringing events..

The tower is affiliated to the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers and is part of Sonning Deanery branch.

Ringing times are as follows: Service ringing, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays: 9.30-10am, 3rd Sunday: 10-10.30am Practice ringing, Mondays: 7.30-9.00pm
