Friends of Waltham St Lawrence School Charity Gift Aid

Purpose and Goal

For over 100 years, our small village school, Waltham St. Lawrence Primary School has educated and nurtured thousands of children equipping them with the skills for lifelong learning.  In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were judged “Outstanding in all areas”. We continue to strive to not only maintain this high standard but to build on it and improve further by providing the very best possible provision for all of our children to achieve their full potential.

However, the current economic climate means that schools have less and less money to do more and more. As a small village school we are often constrained by the very tight budget. Through the Friends of Waltham St. Lawrence School (FOWSL) we seek to raise additional funds for the school to enhance the children’s learning.  Projects that we may support include improving the children’s access to new technologies e.g. purchasing more laptops or iPads, CD players or providing additional books, games/puzzles or stimulating teaching and learning resources or improving the school learning environment.
